The infrastructure is continuously improving, the weather is pleasant and the wildlife opportunities leave visitors awe-struck. But if you want to understand South Africa, you'll have to deal with the full spectrum; poverty and the AIDS orphan pandemic. 
Our programs provide the opportunity to participate in the social and academic development of children and young people. By living and working among the people you'll be able to appreciate the complexity of the nation’s past and present, and help to give the younger generation the tools they need for the future. Contribute your time as a teaching assistant in a pre-school and primary school. Work in an orphanage or community children’s center. Get involved with the motivation and development of young people’s lives and ultimately help to bridge gaps and influence change in the ‘New South Africa”.
