HGM's "team-sending" policy is great news for all who have felt called into missions, yet don't fit the classical stereotype of "preaching prophet." Recognizing the excellence of transplanting the Body of Christ, HGM will commission several missionaries together. This allows members of all ages and backgrounds to pool their talents and spiritual gifts and overcome individual weaknesses. Through these shared strengths, HGM believes each team will have the combination of gifts needed to effectively reach their target people - even if the individuals do not. Also, this becomes a model for the indigenous Church of how to love and care for its members. When one member falls down or is wounded, in love and support, the members of the team can care for him/her.
Do you qualify for BFBC? There are at least nine qualifications that are critical for entering BFBC. Here they are:

Training cost $650 /month for singles and $1200 /month for couples. Training is for five months and living expenses after that are determined based on the living conditions of the people group you will be working among. |
