No matter whether teaching English in a local school in Marrakech, helping orphanage and kinder or nursing assistant, taking part in a Language & cultural immersion program or join a pottery and painting techniques workshop in Safi, you will have the best time of your life Orphans Program in Marrakech Teach in several local schools, in an orphanage or other community-development program sites. At the local schools you will be assisting teachers and coach sports. At the orphanage you will help the children doing their homework, play games with them and provide assistance in extramural activities. The project deals with social work with disadvantaged children and young people at the orphanage. There are around 47 children at the age of 4 to 14 years who live in the orphanage city for the time being. The children are eager to learn so you will have the possibility to gain teach experience in an ambitious atmosphere. Helping develop Kindergartens and nursery schools in Marrakech Our day-care staff looks after the children. The volunteer would be an additional person who could add his/her ideas for our nursery. Volunteers work side by side with the day-care staff looking after young children. Volunteers can bring ideas and helping hands to the nursery. There are around 60 children from one month to 12 years old adopted by the orphan nursery. These kids are rejected from their single mothers or found on the street after their birth. Volunteers playing with kids, teaching them things like the alphabet, poems, songs etc. Volunteers would also help feeding the children, which often implies literally putting food in their mouths, changing diapers and helping comfort the small infants. Prior experience is not necessary.
