Kibera which is the larges slums in Kenya & second in Africa there are a lot of orphan children roaming the streets, people that are spiritually and physically hungry. We recently brought a medical team with us and their report was this, "most of the medical issues, deaths is because of lack of shoes and simple medication costing no more than $20. We also support a rescue home that houses 8 children that were rescued off the streets of Kibera. You or your team could host a VBS for the children in Kibera, evangelize, help supply shoes for children, preach, teach and work with the orphans at the rescue home. Maasai in the bush is a experience you will never forget. It is said that only 7% is reached so far with the Gospel. In the past we have built buildings for tree churches so they no longer have to sit in the heat or the rain, helped drilled water wells. East Africa is in need of water in a major way. The cost to drill a deep water well is $35,000 You or your team could minister to the Maasai by holding a VBS for the children, evangelizing, helping construct a building to hold church & raise money to drill a deep water well and be a part of the drilling when the water comes up. On the last day you will have the option of taking a vacation day. On this day you can take a safari, or go shopping & visit the giraffe park.
