The Isaiah Connection |
| Title: |
Honduras Summer |
| Description: |
Through a local (MN) coffee shop we met Amy Contreas, whose husband Armando is a coffee farmer in Honduras, and who has a passion for improving the lives of the people in San Antonia de la Cuesta. We work alongside churches and the local government to empower the people. This trip offers opportunities for medical outreach, construction and ministry in the schools. We are helping to convert an old school damaged by Hurricane Mitch into a cultural center and thereby assisting the community with their goal to raise one child up to attend university and return to better their community. We also work with schools teaching English as a second language and/or organized sports. |
