Come serve the Lord in one of the poorest countries in the world, Cambodia. You will be blessed by the opportunity to be a shining light in this dark country. After trainingat the Lord’s Boot Camp, your journey begins with a flight from the Orlando International Airport to Los Angeles. From Los Angeles a connecting flight takes you across the Pacific Ocean and the International Date Line to Hong Kong, China and on to Siem Reap, Cambodia.
You will travel by truck eight hours to Kompong Chhnang where Teen Missions in Cambodia runs their Boot Camp. After getting settled into your tents, you begin teaching classes to national teens preparing for the mission field. After the national commissioning your team will begin a new project using soccer outreach in nearby villages to share the Good News alongside a Cambodian team. When your project time is completed, you return to the Teen Missions in Cambodia Bible, Missionary & Work Training Center in Siem Reap, by boat on Tongle Sap Lake.
An exciting day of sightseeing awaits at the ancient temples of Angkor Wat built in the 12th century. You may have an opportunity to ride an elephant around the temple complex, before shopping for local souvenirs at the shops. You will then fly to Yangon, Myanmar and have the chance to visit this beautiful country that is beginning to open its doors.
