Serve the Lord this summer on the “Nature Isle of the Caribbean” in Dominica, one of the Lesser Antilles Islands! After completing your training at the Lord’s Boot Camp, you bus to the Orlando International Airport to fly to Melville Hall Airport located on the northern tip of the island, via Miami and Philipsburg, St. Maarten. You bus from the airport winding your way up and over the mountain to Roseau and ontoPointMichael. Here you will renovate a small church that was built by a Teen Missions team in the 1970’s and will be used for a community outreach center. You will be staying right across from the beach. You will have the opportunity to share the Gospel by using the skills you learned at Boot Camp in music, puppets, drama and testimonies with the children of the village. You will visit the Morne Trois Pitons National Park and see the Valley of Desolation, a region of boiling mud ponds and small geysers along with the Boiling Lake and the Emerald Pool. Shopping for souvenirs in the market will be a fun time of bartering, before returning to Florida for Debrief.
