Ministry will involve visiting and working alongside local artists—believing and non-believing through a local art initiative. Together the artists will work towards supporting the ongoing efforts of a studio used for reaching out into the community among North African immigrants and Spanish alike through exhibits, workshops, and artist exchanges. Activities could include; connecting with local artists, going to galleries, continuing some of the relationships began in previous years, creating and hosting an art exhibition, hosting art workshops in partnership with the local church, prayer walking and/or creating a large public event on the beach in the evenings. Artists applying for this option will need to submit their portfolio as part of the application process so that we can properly prepare for the ministry. Accommodation: Rome: in a hotel
Southern Spain: in modest hotel or dorm-like accommodations Food: Will be eating together as a team, picnics, cafe's, etc. Travel: You are responsible to arrange your own travel to Rome for the conference, to Algeciras on the 24th and home on 9 August. How to find us: The conference will take place in a hotel in Pomezia, just outside Rome. Detailed information how to get there from the airport or train station will be given to you by your local OM office. Health: People must be in good health. Please be sure we know in advance if there are any special health challenges. People need to be able to walk where they need to go. Visa: People should check if they need a visa for Italy or Spain.
