India | Teen Trip

From modern cities to rural villages, you will experience much of this culture. After completing your training at the Lord’s Boot Camp in Merritt Island, Florida, you will begin your journey halfway around the world! Your adventure continues at the Orlando International Airport, where you board a flight to JFK International Airport in New York. From New York, connecting flights take you across the Atlantic Ocean to Brussels, Belgium and Chennai (formerly known as Madras) and on to Hyderabad, India.

As you leave the airport, you will feel as if you have stepped into another world, filled with bright colors, the smell of spices and, most of all, people who need to know Jesus. From Hyderabad, you bus four hours to Bogaburam, Andhra Pradesh. Here you will put your construction skills to use on the new building for Win Our Nations Orphanage. Playing games, doing crafts and just giving the children attention will be an experience you will never forget. After your time at the orphanage, you will head to the Teen Missions in India Bible, Missionary & Work Training Center located in Vijayawada. You may help the students with the many projects happening at the base, which may include helping run an after-school program for the local children. Housing will be in dorms with showers available. At the end of this trip of a lifetime, you will take a train to Agra. Here you will see one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, the Taj Mahal. After your time at the Taj Mahal, shop for India’s brightly colored “saris”, handmade articles of wood, brass, leather, marble and embroidered hand-spun fabrics in the local markets.
