Reaching Scottish Schools and Communities with the Gospel of Jesus
Description:
The summer of 2013 will be the fifteenth year that RP Missions has sent a team to work with the Airdrie congregation. Team members can expect to keep busy as they share the gospel in public schools, help lead Holiday Bible Clubs (VBS), distribute several thousand pamphlets, survey local communities, and are involved in the day to day life of the church. Time also will be spent in the study of Reformation history in Scotland. While this may seem like a break from mission efforts, it helps serve the Scottish churches as they seek to establish a Theological Hall to train pastors, elders, missionaries, and other Christian servants. This team will also be helping with a church plant effort in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland. Aiding a new congregation in Stornoway (island in the north) and a church plant in Edinburgh.
