Participant Profile
The participant is a visual artist - painter or sculptor - who is able to engage with others. Accommodation: Accommodation will be in a simple pension or hotel. Food: Food will be eaten in restaurants or purchased from grocery stores. Travel: All travel to the conference, from the conference to the outreach and from there back home is your responsibility. Therefore, you need to book and pay for your own travel to Rome, from Rome to Turkey and from Turkey back home. The actual location to which you will fly in Turkey will be posted by 1 December 2009. Please make sure you arrive at the conference site in Rome not earlier than 12:00 and not later as 17:00. How to find us: The conference will take place at Hotel Selene, in Pomezia just outside Rome. The closest intl airport is Rome Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) Airport. From the airport, take the Leonardo Express train to Roma Termini (from the Ciampino airport, take the shuttle bus to the Roma Termini train station.) From there, take the train for Nettuno and get off at the second stop, Pomezia – Santa Palomba. A shuttle bus from the train station to the Hotel Selene will be arranged for a small charge Health: The participant should be healthy though the fact that this team will not travel much makes it appropriate for those who might struggle on teams that travel more.
