| Title: |
Rwanda Mission Trip - Orphanage Work |
| Description: |
The need in Rwanda is overwhelming. Estimates suggest that one million of the country’s ten million residents are orphaned children. These children are filling orphanages or living on the streets due to poverty, the repercussions of war, the AIDS pandemic, and the impact of the 1994 genocide, when over one million Rwandans were killed. Families have been torn apart. Orphans are raising orphans. In response, AGCI has embraced this country in need and answered the call of service for God’s children of Rwanda.
AGCI has partnered with several government-run and private homes to serve children in need. Embrace Missions trips to Rwanda include activities and work projects in orphanages, schools, street kid ministries, and women’s programs.
