Edge Team: Shifting Sands

The shifting sands of the Saharan Desert provide an accurate backdrop to the spiritual climate of this little-known country in Africa. This area is considered remote, extremely poor, creating a huge need for believers from other countries to assist the small number of followers of Christ in sharing the gospel. There is still time to make a significant difference for Christ among these people, but we need to act quickly.

We've been afforded incredible opportunities as foreigners to help bring Christ to the young and influential future leaders of this country. We will be interacting with English speakers during our time, teaching English as a foreign language (EFL) with university students. Build relationships with your students and learn more about their culture and life in this country. You can take opportunities to discreetly communicate your personal faith in Christ in a small group setting or one-on-one with those you meet. 

You will likely be the only Christian these students will ever meet. You can help take the message of Christ where He is not yet known and influence the future leaders of a country!
