Enjoy spending your summer at the Adventure Learning Center in the Bahamas. Following training at the Lord’s Orlando International Airport for your flight across the Straits of Florida to Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, located on New Providence Island.
From the airport, a 30-minute ride takes you to the Adventure Learning Center where your project is to clear fire lanes around the camp and do other landscaping jobs. You will have the opportunity to share with those attending camp, using your skills in music, puppets, dramas and testimonies. You will have time to swim in thecrystal clear, cool, turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean, just feet from your project site.
You might want to try national food like conch fritters and visit the Straw Market to shop for stones, baskets, straw hats, wood carvings from driftwood, oil paintings and t-shirts. |

Unique Missionary training will be held at the Lord's Boot Camp in Florida, including a timed obstacle course and classes in Bible, evangelism (drama, music, puppets), and basic construction skills (for work teams). Training focuses on spiritual growth, teamwork, and character. Teams are normally 15-25 persons. Each mission trip is completed with a three day Debrief before returning home. |
