Adventures In Missions |
| Title: |
Dominican Republic - Youth Group Missions |
| Description: |
Sharing its border with Haiti, this island nation has thousands of refugees. Its economy is severely depressed and the people have little hope. The Gospel message sustains the Christian community. You will work with the local church providing training and encouragement through existing ministries. There will also be opportunities for street outreaches and ministry with evangelistic mimes and dramas.
You will be helping churches to build sanctuaries and other church facilities. You will be doing VBS, door-to-door evangelism, prayer ministry and building relationships with the church members. Mime, puppets, drama, and sports evangelism are also possible ministries.
