The windy city hosts over 200 ethnic and language groups, creating a diverse culture. Between 1955 and 1975, over 40 evangelical groups moved out of the city and into the suburbs. In the last 10 years, Muslims have bought and paid for 150 new mosques. The door is open for the Gospel message. We work with a host of dynamic inner-city organizations, bringing Christ to the homeless, the addicted, the abused, and those afflicted with AIDS.
Ministry Description:
Ministry partners include inner-city churches, youth ministry programs, a nursing home, and homeless shelters.
Working with local churches, you'll have an opportunity to reach out to children through vacation Bible school (VBS) or block parties. You'll also minister to the people of Chicago through prayer walks, and serve the homeless by meeting them at shelters and local parks.
