The volunteer teaching opportunities are available in Primary and Secondary schools all over Ghana. However we can arrange for you to teach in a pre-school if that is your preference. Usually we have between 4 and 10 volunteers arriving in Ghana each month. You are usually placed with at least one other volunteer. This always depends on how many are volunteering at the same time and the area they are placed in.

Requirements: (age, abilities, qualifications)
Volunteers for the Ghana Teaching Program must:
* be between 18 and 65 years of age
* be able to walk long distances (up to 1 hour continuously) and be able to tolerate heat
* be available for a minimum of four weeks
* be able to speak English fluently
* have a High School qualification to teach at primary level, and a college degree to teach at secondary level
