| Title: |
Mongolia/Korea |
| Description: |
Dare to go to the ends of the earth! With a nomadic culture largely unchanged for 1,000 years, Mongolia calls out to the adventurous and wild at heart. After training at the Lord’s Boot Camp, you bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight to Atlanta, Georgia. A connecting flight takes you across the western United States,British Columbia, Alaska and the International Date Line toSeoul, South Korea. Your last flight across the Yellow Sea and China brings you to Ulaan Bataar, the capital of Mongolia. A short bus ride takes you to the site of the Mongolia Boot Camp, just 30 miles outside the city. Yours will be a unique experience as you help run the national Boot Camp for Mongolian youth. You will teach carpentry, block laying, music and drama, and judge the Obstacle Course. Make life-long friends as you perform as “Missionaries to Mongolia”. The passion these young people have to share Jesus with their fellow countrymen will impact your life forever. Housing is in tents and bathing will be done using a bucket. When you return home you will know you made an eternal difference! Before you leave, experience a memorable trip to the open market to purchase souvenirs such as Mongolian national clothing, cashmere, riding boots or plush camels. After your project time, you return to Florida for Debrief. (Note: Florida Beach Debrief) |
