DEEP BUSH OUTREACH! Needed are young men from 18 to 30 that must be willing to rough it camping, traveling via horseback and buggy (wagon), and hiking great distances. We are currently accepting applications for one year (intern) and two year (associate) positions in West Africa. This is a groundbreaking work. The mission is seeking to re-establish contact in a number of rural villages in hopes of launching a centrally-located vocational / high school for the young men of the region. Team will also travel to unreached and partially-reached people groups, encountering a heavy concentration of Islam and witchcraft, as well as Christians who have had very little contact with missionaries. This is NOT for the faint of heart. You will be away from civilization for long stretches of time, many meals will consist of what the locals eat, and language adaptation will be necessary (English is spoken within the large cities). If you are a senior in high school up to 30 years of age, these positions are available to you. The associate and intern programs are for anyone who is interested in learning more about missions and ministry through hands-on experience. (We apologize, but at this time we can only take male interns or associates, or a husband and wife team, as there are no women on the mission station.) |

We currently have positions available for missionary interns & associates (young men), and one position for a husband and wife associate team. Interns and associates would assist with children’s Bible studies, village-to-village outreach, and the building of a new mission station, as well as with daily chores and upkeep. Included in this is the opportunity for an individual to teach a vocational/high school class (no degree required), lead a Bible study, and/or help plan and organize outreach work, should any of these be areas of special interest or gifting. Our internship program is for individuals interested in serving from three months up to one year. The associate program is for those willing to commit for longer than one year.

Only $7,060 per year!
Associates and interns serve in a voluntary capacity. The first 12 weeks on the field are US $100 a week (per person), and each additional week is US $65 ($3,800 per year). The associate or intern is only required to have the first twelve weeks’ expenses raised upon arrival to the field. He will be expected to cover travel costs to and from Nigeria (app. $1,300 to $1,700 roundtrip depending on where one is flying from. Abuja is the nearest airport to our current location). We would suggest that the intern or associate plan on having $20 to $30 dollars personal spending money per week. However, this is not mandatory. This would cover your personal expenses such as phone calls (about $10 for 30 min. to the US), internet usage ($3 per hour), souvenirs, and meals eaten apart from community mission meals and its outreach work. These funds can be routed through the mission. The required weekly costs go towards covering food, travel expenses within the country, housing, and outreach expenses. Estimated cost including personal spending money, flight, and mission expenses: only $7,060 per year!
