Sapphire seas and long stretches of white sand, waving palm trees and schools of leaping dolphins - the beauty of this land beckons tourists from across the world. Although surfing, sailing, and fishing abound, spiritual darkness casts an enduring shadow over what has become known as an island playground for the rich and famous. On this, Awe Star's first trip to this Muslim nation, the dual threads of relationships and cultural exchange will interwine to form our net. Seeking to understand the people, their lifestyle, and their beliefs, we will travel by boat to various parts of the country. We'll work to embrace the people as individuals, sharing our lives and hearts one-on-one. We'll learn about their culture and customs and, as God leads us, share some of ours - including the transformational drama for which Awe Star has become well-known. If you sense the priority of prayer preparation and are equipped to enter a land of spiritual darkness, if you value relationships more than immediate results, this may be the trip for you.
