Over 2.5 billion people live in ethnic groups with no self-sufficient, indigenous church capable of evangelizing the rest of the group; however, only 1 in every 40 missions goers ministers to them. Make an eternal impact serving with Global Frontier Missions among the unreached indigenous groups of Oaxaca (pronounced wah-HA-cah), southern Mexico. Why serve in Oaxaca with GFM? 1) Your mission trip is not an isolated outreach with no lasting impact; it fits in with the long-term church planting strategy of our full-time missionaries. 2) We provide excellent on-field training, so that you know how to act culturally, what to say, and what role your outreach plays in the big picture of the work in Oaxaca. 3) Only 1 in every 40 people doing mission work in another country are going to the 2.5+ billion unreached. 1.7 billion of the unreached have never heard the name of Jesus! Buck this trend by doing something different and going to those who have never heard! Our Global Adventures in Oaxaca, southern Mexico involve 2 days of on-the-field training, 5 days of outreach, and a day of debriefing, sightseeing, and shopping at the end. Outreaches you might do include teaching English classes, drilling wells, putting on medical clinics, or helping with a water filtration project. Each of these outreaches meets practical needs and opens doors for sharing the gospel. We have a full-time church planting team in Oaxaca that is able to follow up on good contacts made during short-term outreaches. We don't try and make money off your team; we just charge you for reasonable expenses of the short-term mission program. The cost of the trip is US$450/person plus airfare to Oaxaca City. The trip fees cover all your food, housing, transportation, and ministry expenses while in Mexico. For full trip details, visit www.globalfrontiermissions.com or email us.
