Maybe you haven’t, but if you are passionate about using your talents to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, then this is the team for you! Come take part in this exciting evangelistic team in Malawi, the “Warm Heart of Africa”! Following Boot Camp training, you bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight to Malawi’s capital, Lilongwe, via Washington D.C., Rome, Italy and Addis Ababa, the capital ofEthiopia. From the Lilongwe airport you travel two hours by truck to the Teen Missions in Malawi Bible, Missionary & Work Training Center in Chipoka, located on the shores of Lake Malawi. Once called Lake Nyasa, David Livingstone was the first white man to see this lake. Your ministry will be to venture to several Rescue Units. At each Unit, you will join with a choir of orphans to present the Gospel in surrounding villages using drama, singing and the showing of the JESUS Film. You will be able to share the Gospel in English, as it is one of the official languages of Malawi. Housing will be in tents; bathing and laundry will be done using buckets. During a trip to the Liwonde National Park, you will see monkeys jumping from tree to tree, hippos’ ears sticking out of the water and impalas running across the plains. Following your project you return to Addis Ababa for Debrief. (Note: Ethiopia Debrief) |
