Step into a fabulous island ambience as you serve the Lord onSamoa, a South Pacific island paradise! After Boot Camp training is completed you bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight across the southern United States to Los Angeles. Following your layover you continue on a flight across the Pacific Ocean and theEquator to Faleolo International Airport located on the island ofUpolu. From the airport it is a 45-minute ride to the Youth With A Mission base where you will build a 135' x 90' fele tele, an open-sided meeting house. Fellowship with those living on the base and in churches and strengthen your own faith as you share God’s love through music, puppets, drama and testimonies. Your input into the project and these people’s lives will go a long way in building God’s kingdom in Samoa. Housing will be in fele teles, with showers available. Laundry will be done using your buckets. A day will be spent at the Pauasaea Sliding Rocks and swimming in the South Pacific Ocean on the white sandy beach at Lufilufi. Shopping in Apia, the capital city, and a visit to the neighboring island of Savaii will cap off your Polynesian adventure. After your project you fly across the International Date Line to Auckland, New Zealand, for a connecting flight to Brisbane,Australia and bus to Teen Missions International Australia in Tewantin for Debrief. |
