NC-2 is a Christian year out training and practical ministry opportunity for 18-25 year olds based at ncounter in Wiltshire. NC-2 is a programme which combines training/personal development with the exciting challenge of sharing the Christian faith with young people, helping them to explore positive life choices. ncounter supports a full time Christian band working in schools, and helps to resource other youth work right across the region. We believe that NC-2 provides an exciting spiritual challenge which will enable you to develop new skills and confidence, helping you to launch out into the rest of your life. If you have a heart to learn and to make a difference to the lives of thousands of young people, then maybe NC-2 is for you. Ncounter facilities While on the NC-2 programme you’ll enjoy full use of the ncounter facilities, including workshop and other facilities at The Base, our dedicated dance studio and café facility. Depending on your interests, you may be working in schools or youth clubs and events, and you may combine this with design and publishing, video editing or dance, drama and music. You’ll also be an important part of the ncounter team, taking an active part in prayer times, and helping to discern God’s plan for ncounter as we move forward in faith. Training programme You’ll receive training from our Youthwork Manager and a tailored programme of youth-work related training will be put in place after discussion with you. This may include training for church presentations, helping with dance/music workshops, setting up and helping to lead and run outreach projects with local churches, and more! NC-2 is a regionally-based programme, working closely with local churches and organisations. We will provide the practical care you need, including a living allowance, food, accommodation with a committed Christian family, and work related expenses. NC-2 your life NC-2 is a major opportunity to get hands-on experience, challenging you to develop new skills and make a real difference to peoples’ lives.
