Volunteer Abroad in Argentina: Volunteering Work Abroad, Argentinean International Volunteers Opportunities

Description:

Volunteer Abroad in Argentina: Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteer Abroad in Argentina. Argentina is the second largest city in South America, and shares its borders with Bolivia, Brazil and Paraguay to the north, Uruguay to the north east and Chile to the west. The east coast of Argentina has a long South Atlantic Ocean coastline.

Argentina is a country of immense beauty and proportions. Its geographic diversity spans the most breathtaking terrain from Antarctica, through the wild, glacier-filled mountains of Patagonia and massive open plains of La Pampas to the deserts and tropical jungles in the north.

The country can be enjoyed for its natural wonders alone, but no visit here could be called complete without stepping into its soul, its capital city. The elegant Buenos Aires is home to 40 percent of the population, and is a buzzing metropolis with a rich, passionate and tortured history that is integral to its character.

Most Argentines are primarily of European descent, which separates them from other Latin American countries where European and Indian cultures are more mixed.

Culturally and emotionally, Argentines often seem more European than Latin American. Due to the heavy influence of Italian, Spanish, French and other European immigrants, Argentina has an interesting blend of architecture, history and culinary delights.

The two three main passions and topic of conversation in Argentina are football (soccer), the tango, and beef! There is a constant smell of meat grilling from every corner and sidewalk that reveals the Argentine passion for 'asado' (BBQ).

Our volunteer program allow you to take part in meaningful community service work, while discovering the people, sights, smells and tastes of Argentina. Volunteering in Argentina is a way to totally immerse yourself in Spanish culture.

Volunteering in Argentina provides a great opportunity to make life-long friends, learn a foreign language and discover that one person really can make a difference. Volunteer with us and see A Broader View of the World. var pconf={ widgetTitle: 'A broader view', defaultContent: 'TEXTAREA_ID', UIConfig: '' }; Wildfire.initPost('216131', 'divWildfirePost', 470, 300, pconf);
