God’s Centre of Blessings Ministries was established in June 1997 in Bweyogerere, East Kampala, Uganda. Our vision is to reach out to the lost with the message of hope and God’s grace, mercy and love.
Our mission is to administer God’s love to the brokenhearted, wounded and hurting people of Uganda and the world. We want to reach the hopeless with the message of salvation; teach them how to walk out their faith and equip them to do the work of the ministry; and then send them out as mighty men and women of God to go
Doctrinal Statement:
TRINITY - We believe in one Eternal God, the Creator of heaven and earth, of all visible and invisible. We believe in the unity of the Godhead: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Isaiah 37:16, Matthew 28:19, John 16:27-28)
SCRIPTURE - We believe the bible is the Word of God - authorative, active, and infallible.
SALVATION - Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. He gave His life and shed His bloodto redeem and restore man back to God. Salvation is the gift of God to man. It is by faith, not by works. (Romans 3:23-26 and 5:14-20, Eph 2:8-9)
WATER BAPTISM - We believe that baptism in water is by immersion. It is a direct commandment by our Lord. It's an ordinance symbol of identifying with death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Ropmans 6:16, Matthew 3:1-17 and 28:18-20)
BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT - We believe that baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God. This experience is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance to the believer. (John 15:26, Acts 1:8 and 2:1-4)
DIVINE HEALINGS - We believe in healing for the human body wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ. (Mark 16:17-18, Acts 28:7-8)
PRAISE AND WORSHIP - We believe in the freedom of expression i praise and worship. (Psalms 95:7, 96:1-13, 100:1-5, 150:1-6)
RESURRECTION - Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, suffered on the cross, was crucified and buried. On the third day, He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. He shall come back in power and glory to judge the living and the dead. (Luke 24:50-53, John 5:24-29, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Peter 4:5-6, Rev 20:11-15)
