Mission Statement:

1. Concerning the Scriptures...
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the supreme revelation of God's will for mankind, the product of men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to life and doctrine.

(Matthew 4:4, 5:18; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

2. Concerning the One True God...
We believe in one God, the creator of heaven and earth, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, being equal in power and glory. God the Father is the sender of the Word. The Son is the Word made flesh, and has existed with the Father from the beginning. The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and is eternal.

(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19-20; John 1:1-3, 14 & 18, 15:26, 16:28; Philippians 2:6; 1 John 5:6-8)

3. Concerning Man, His Fall and Redemption...
We believe that man was created in the likeness and image of God, as a direct act of God and not from any previously existing form of life. Through an act of his free will, Adam sinned and fell from his state of innocence. Consequently all men are now sinners, by nature and by choice. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God". "As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one." Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into the world to undo the work of the devil. He gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God. Salvation is the free gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing work acceptable to God.

(Genesis 1:26, 3:17; Romans 3:10 & 23, 5:12-21; Ephesians 2:8; 1 John 3:8)

4. Concerning Eternal Life and the New Birth......
We believe that the grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men and is made known through the preaching of the Gospel. The sinner, who, through godly sorrow, comes to a place of genuine repentance and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, shall receive the gift of salvation. At the point of salvation, the believer becomes a new creation by being born again of the Holy Spirit. This New Birth is necessary for all men, and when experienced produces eternal life.

(John 3:3-5; Romans 10:9-10; 2 Corinthians 5:17, 7:10; Ephesians 2:8-10; 1 John 5:12)

5. Concerning Hell and Eternal Retribution...
We believe that any person, who physically dies in his sins, without accepting Christ, is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire and, therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The Lake of Fire is literal, the terms "eternal" and "everlasting", used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the Lake of Fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of the saints in the presence of God.

(Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:10-15)

6. Concerning the Church...
We believe that the church is the holy Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit, with a divine appointment to fulfill the Great Commission. Every believer is an integral part of the body, called to participate in the work of the ministry.

(Mathew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15, 20; Ephesians 4:11-13)

7. Concerning Ordinances...
We believe that Baptism in water by immersion is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only. By being baptized in water the believer declares symbolically his identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We further believe that the Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements of bread and fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing in a memorial to the suffering and death of our Lord. It is for all believers to participate in until the return of our Lord.

(Matthew 28:19; Luke 22:19-20; John 6:48-57; Romans 6:4, 36-39; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39; 1 Peter 1:4)

8. Concerning Baptism in the Holy Spirit...
We believe that the promise of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a subsequent experience to salvation and is available to all believers, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues and the demonstration of spiritual power in daily life.

(Mathew 3:11; Acts 1:8, 2:4, 10:44-46, 19:6)

9. Concerning Sanctification...
We believe that the Bible teaches that, without holiness, no man can see the Lord. Sanctification is the will of God for all believers and is a definite, yet progressive work of grace, through the power of the Holy Spirit, which begins at the time of salvation, and continues until the consummation of salvation at the return of Christ.

(1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12-14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 12:14; 2 Peter 3:18)

10. Concerning Divine Healing...
We believe that healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and/or by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and is available to every believer today.

(Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; Mark 16:18; James 5:14-15; 1 Peter 2:24)

11. Concerning the Resurrection of the Just and the Return of Our Lord...
We believe that the second coming of Jesus Christ is imminent. The angels said to His disciples, "This same Jesus, who is taken up from you into Heaven, will come in the way you have seen Him going into Heaven." When He comes, those who have died in Christ shall rise first. Then, believers who are still alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. Following the Tribulation, He shall return to earth as King of kings, and Lord of lords, and together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests, He shall reign a thousand years.
