Mission Statement:
As followers of Jesus Christ, Hands and Feet Ministries’ purpose is to serve and empower others to make a difference in the lives of the people of the communities we serve.
God Focused:
We believe God’s ultimate revelation to creation came in the person of Jesus Christ. There is nothing more important in our lives than God. We believe that one of the ways we can experience God is through serving others in God’s Kingdom. Our desire is to worship God, not only through our service and ministry, but with the entirety of our lives.
Grace Centered:
We are eternally thankful for God’s grace, given to us through Christ Jesus. We acknowledge that our hope for a restored relationship with God is found in our faith in Christ alone. Thus we live our lives with a spirit of grace and humility, especially as it pertains to serving others in our beloved communities.
Community Motivated:
We deeply love and care about the communities in which we serve. We believe in spreading the kingdom of God by getting to know people in the community, meeting their daily needs, seeking justice for all people, talking about God and sharing our blessings with others.
Servant Hearted:
The Holy Spirit works in and through us, providing us with a servant’s heart, the compassion to love, and the courage to make a difference in the lives of those we are sent to serve.
Awareness Minded:
We desire to create a greater awareness among all who live in God’s creation. By visiting communities of differing cultures and increasing one’s awareness of injustice and poverty that exist within these communities, we believe God’s people are bonded together in the manner that God intended.
